Dylan Thomas Carmarthenshire Trail

For details of the Dylan Thomas trail, visit:

http://www.dylanthomastrail.co.uk

"Dylan Thomas, one of the twentieth century’s most renowned writers, is inextricably linked with South West Wales - from the poet’s birthplace, the Maritime city of Swansea on the edge of the Gower Peninsula, to the lush rolling hillsides of Carmarthenshire where he spent some of his happiest, most productive years through to Pembrokeshire, the UK’s only Coastal National Park and Ceredigion with its verdant landscape and rich cultural heritage.

Today, Dylan Thomas’ work through the medium of print, radio and film is enjoyed world-wide by a huge audience and a visit to South West Wales
following the poet’s ‘trail’ demonstrates what a vital influence the whole region had on this most admired and prolific of writers.

This site seeks to give you the opportunity to explore Dylan Thomas’ association with the region, whether you are travelling by car or using public transport.
