Together our five museums and heritage centres
capture some of the highlights of Carmarthenshire's varied past,
from the cave dwellers of 40,000 years ago to the triumphs of the
world land speed record. There are many objects from the past to
stimulate your curiosity.
As well as the permanent displays, some of our places have a changing
programme of exhibitions aimed to tempt you back for more visits.
The Carmarthenshire County Museum has quizzes
and other activities for children. These too are sometimes available
at our other venues.
So why not visit your museums and discover some
of Carmarthenshire's treasures. All our venues are free.
